Rated 4 out of 5 by from NICE! and bright enough for daytime riding. I really like these lights. I bought two for my kids' bikes and they are way brighter than I expected and it can be seen during the day from a wide view angle. The best feature is the convenience of them working on a single AA battery. Changing the battery is super easy since there are no screws to undo or caps to lose. I'm thinking of getting one for myself once I verify that it's brighter and has a wider angle than the flashlight I currently have clamped on to my bike. My only "complaint" (-1 star) is that the strap has only one setting; albeit, it stretches, and there is no way to fix it so it keeps its orientation and so it can't be swung down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it. I bought this mainly for safety, so I'd be seen, but it surprised me that it puts out enough light for me to see where I'm going, too. It's so easy to strap on and take off that I just keep it handy in my workout bag and put it on when I need it, so the chance of it walking off is minimal. And it uses a AA battery. I bought a rear light to go with it and like it, too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great lamp !!!! Love this lamp because it connects sooo easy and takes a "AA" battery !!! It replaced one that took those $6 flat batteries. UGH. So nice now because everywhere sells AA !!!! So if it dies stop anywhere, and back in business! I have since gone back and bought a second for my wives bike.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from junk -- keeps shutting off with every little bump This light is absolute junk. It shuts off with every little bump in the road. ANd the batteries last about an hour before the light turns red.

Questions & Answers

Need a front bike light for riding into tunnels on the GAP. Will this provide enough to lumens for that purpose?

Asked by: Bride
This light will be too dim for the GAP tunnels. You will be better suited with a bike light that has a 250 to 500 lumen output.

I am getting ready to do a 30 hour adventure race. Would this light be bright enough for riding through the woods/road riding?  Thanks!

Asked by: Mackenzie
This light is best to use for visibility and lighting the immediate area around you; you may want to choose a 300 or greater lumen bike light to provide the lighting distance you need for penetrating the darkness of the woods.
