This is a really bright light, and I love it for that. Love the various patterns. What I don't love, however, is the mount. This is mentioned in other reviews, but the fact that you have to strap and unstrap and stretch the mount every single time is really annoying; perhaps if you are in the country and don't really leave the bike out, this is a good light. For city riding, I'm not a fan of this system. Prefer a normal mount where you can slide the light in, like pretty much every other light I've had. If they redesigned this to a regular mount, would definitely recommend, but as of now, can't.
I really like this light. I have used it in complete darkness and it has provided excellent light to see the road, and peripheral conditions on my early morning rides. It is probably a little larger than I prefer, but I found a way to mount it that does not interfere with my bike computer or phone mount. I will probably purchase one of the specialty (GoPro type) mounts from Lezyne's website to better facilitate out front mounting. But so far, so good. I would definitely buy this light again.
For $100.00 the light comes with no USB cord. For this kind of money the light should be able to slide on and off a track. Every time you remove the light you have to pull on the thick rubber band that may not even last a year. Save your receipt. So you can easily return the light.
Light is super bright. It’s sturdy enough when riding and you can point it down if someone is getting blinded. Love the fact it can be recharged I used it for 3 hours before I had to charge it. However, be aware if you want a permanent home on your bars you have to buy an attachment for it. I am okay just taking it off when I am done riding.
Great light. Attaches securely, nice brightness, love the "race mode" that switches quickly between 2 brightness settings. This is my second Lezyne light. Very happy with both.
