Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy Feet! I had to order this non-waterproof version because it's not stocked in my store, but I am very happy with them! I tried my usual Keens but for some reason they just hurt my feet this time. On the advice of an REI associate I tried this Oboz Sawtooth and I am glad I did. I have walked for several days on concrete at my job and then hiked about 6 miles in rocky mountainous terrain and my feet never got sore or blistered. I did add a thin cushion under the insole and there is plenty of room for it. The Sawtooth sole gave me great traction on slippery stream crossings and steep ascents and descents on my hike. I never slipped. No bruising on the bottom of my feet from the pointy, jagged rocks, either. I highly recommend!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best traction ever Although the hiking shoes are extremely comfortable right out of the box--the wide toe box and quality footbed in particular--the main reason I love these hikers is the TRACTION! I have never felt this secure on virtually any kind of terrain--snow, wet, pavement, dirt, rocks, desert scrambling--nothing fazes these shoes!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Oboz are simply the best!!! I cannot say enough about this outdoor footwear company. I first bought a pair of Oboz Yellowstone BDry about 7 years ago. I have put many miles on them and never once had a hot spot or blister. There was virtually no break-in time, and they gave full support and comfort for hikes all around the PNW. Now that I have relocated to AZ, I have invested in a pair of Oboz Sawtooth low (no waterproofing), and am still impressed with the stability, comfort and grip of this shoe. Don't be afraid to try something new. They are well worth their cost and hold up well! Great job, Oboz!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally, a show that fits! I have a hard to fit foot and am very particular about all of my shoes after having foot surgery. I am wide at the ball of my foot, narrow at the heel and have high arches. These shoes not only fit all of the areas of my foot, but feel great to wear all day. Recommend highly!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Right Out of the Box Second pair of Oboz and they have replaced all my other shoes. Keens are now collecting dust in the closet - I loved my Keens but these are so much more comfortable. They are just as stable but not quite as stiff. The non-waterproof version of the Sawtooth provide a lot of airflow and will be perfect for the summer. Also have the waterproof version and they definitely are dry even when standing in running water. No break-in time needed at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great hiking shoes I had never heard of this brand before and figured I'd buy Merrell or Keen's since I've seen those a lot, but after checking my size and width and trying those brands on, the girl in the shoe dept. suggested I try these. Awesome choice. My feet are usually a 9 but a 9.5 fit well. Wore these first time this weekend on a 2 day Yosemite trip. 9 miles day one and 15 miles day two and no blisters! Comfy with good traction. Love them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable This is my second pair of Oboz. I love my first pair and I am not disappointed in my new Oboz. I bought these for light hiking but rugged terrain and for camping. So far I have only warn them on the flats to break them in and they are great. Very comfortable and breaking in easily. The last pair of Oboz endured quite a beating with camping, hiking, bouldering, just walking. I am looking forward to this pair doing the same.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good so far I bought these for myself. However, they didn't feel comfortable on my foot - it felt to me like the support started mid heel and ended at the ball of my foot. My daughter, who wears roughly the same size tried them on and didn't want to take them off. She wore them on a hiking trip out west. We clocked a couple of miles a day over six days and she was happy the whole time. She's now wearing them for everyday use.

Do these fit a wide foot?  Are they roomy?

We consider these to run true to width which is a standard "B" for women's footwear.

Oboz shoes and boots are good for the heart and sole

Bozeman-based Oboz plants a tree for every pair it sells, runs its Montana office on windpower, and donates shoes to those in need. Oh, and they biomechanically engineer their footwear to be incredibly comfortable, too.
