The upper part of the right shoe pressed painfully into my right ankle. At first I thought the issue would resolve itself as I broke the shoes in. Unfortunately, the material didn't loosen and it got to the point where I could not wear the shoes anymore because it was so painful. I liked everything else about them—the soles of my feet felt very stabilized, aesthetically I think they're nice. I'm not sure if my pair of shoes were defective and that's why the right shoe was so painful, but sharing as a heads up to others.
I’ve worn Oboz before and I really like them. These shoes are great. I’m “ breaking” them in for a 2nd pair of shoes to walk the Camino. Every pair of Oboz I’ve owned had no break in time. My feet run narrow and they can tend be a bit tight for some people - I would advise trying on a pair of men’s shoes for your size rather than order a wide. I found the men’s shoes run a bit wider than the women and I bought a pair of Oboz boots in men and they feel great - again no break in time. They wear well and and I love them. I got the light blue and it is amazing how easy they clean up.
Sturdy and so far so good on a few mild hiking trips.
I got this jacket to play golf int eh winter and it has been stellar - it i not a tight fit and the material is thin, so it works for a wide range of temperatures. It is surprisingly warm - like with all jackets in the cold it needs to fit your waist snugly or you need to have a baselayer that fills up the gap and prevents wind from getting underneath. I wear this one a lot - it kind of works its way into your rotation and tends to shove all the other jackets out :) Thilled is my simple review. It is typical Mountain Hardware all around, and if you are looking for a v ery versatile thin down jacket, this is the one.
From the first hike these shoes were comfortable. I have a bunion on my right foot and it's difficult getting comfortable, supportive shoes. These oboz hit all my criteria and required no breaking in. I am in my 60s, ordered 1/2 size up to 10 1/2. I would recommend to friends.
Absolutely LOVE these shoes, super comfortable and good looking. I always check OBOZ shoes first since they are the most comfortable shoes/sneakers out there. I've been a fan since the beginning when they only had the green Sawtooth- but I wore them with everything. These are no different- fitting true to size and having a reliable sole that can go on wet trails and city sidewalks with ease.
I bought these for a hiking trip to the Grand Canyon in a few months. They fit so well and are so comfortable that I have been wearing them around the house and to town. The fit is smooth and flattering they can even be dressed up. The side pockets are deep and easily fits my phone. Pocket zippers sit flat and smooth. Plenty of stretch in the fabric and crotch area to allow for movement. I have already bought two colors, will be getting the third color and wish they had more.
Exactly what I wanted in a mid layer down jacket. Perfect for sub 15 degree (f) days under the shell for slope use. Nice and light weight, comfortable and most importantly stretchy which is what I wanted from other down jackets. Inside drop pockets are a nice convenience. I’m 5’10 170lbs and a medium fits exactly how I want it to. Thank you MH for coming out with a thinner version of the stretch down jacket.
Looks amazing and offers just the right amount of warmth to let me wear it often in Northern California. Love the stretch fabric and stylish way that the baffling is done. Great colors too. Also fits well, other than the arms being a little long for me (not a major issue though).
Great coat. Super light weight and the stretch is just enough to give your arms and body more freedom of movement. Pocket sizes are good on exterior and interior. As noted in previous reviews, no chest pocket, but not a dealbreaker for me.
