I own several pairs of Oboz because they are made well, are supportive, and I can wear them right out of the box. I need really supportive shoes (planters fasciitis, and pronate). These are almost a bit too tight on the top of my foot. I wear an 11 in this brand. The 11 here fits length wise, but they are a bit too narrow, and again not roomy enough to fit the girth of my foot. Very unlike the Sawtooth style and others. Think tennis shoes, but very rigid. I do not have wide feet either. Feet swell in heat, with travel, and being upright. If they are snug now, that's not a good sign for all day wear. I'm also concerned about my feet getting too hot in these. They are waterproof, but not as breathable as I hoped. My feet felt clammy after 2 hours of wear inside my house moving around. I'll be bringing these back. The color Feather is beautiful. It's a light warm beige color with a tad cooler darker trim. The sole and smaller trim details is like a light raisin color.
I bought Oboz before and they fit great. Wore them until they fell apart. I hoped I would have the same fit and experience with this new pair. Maybe my foot has changed, but after wearing them a few times for short durations with no issues, my first full day of wear became uncomfortable with a tight spot on the inner portion of my foot below my right big toe. Everything else fit great, they were great on all sorts of terrain but I was relieved to take them off at day’s end. Trying them again today - hope they feel better.
The people saying these are too narrow probably didn't get the wide width. Which I get because it's always out of stock!!! I finally nabbed a pair in my size and these are great... A true wide width and toe box, the only one of Oboz's hiking shoe lineup that fits me. These are lighter weight and more flexible soles than the sawtooth hiking shoe. My feet don't get hot in waterproof footwear even in tropical weather, so I can't speak to that aspect. DO size down... I typically wear an 8-8.5 and had to size down to a 7.5
These are comfortable and lightweight but they don't have enough grip on wet pavement.
I love the peacgh color. It's tight in the toebox. I would not recommend for those with wide feet.
