Carabiner
Taking off a star doesn’t mean that there is something inherently wrong with the carabiner. For its price it’s a great biner. However, I don’t think it would be a whole lot more effort to add texture to the gate to provide some grip. I’ve found my fingers have slipped a couple times. Other than that it’s really good
Lightweight, Durable, Well-built
This carabiner fits well in my hand, has a smooth gate mechanism for easy clipping, and looks good too (which of course is important). I snagged a couple of these for accessory use mostly and not so much to be load bearing, but I do have one on standby on my harness as a leaver-biner!
