Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this lantern. This lantern was low on the display so in glad I took my time and made this great discovery. This collapsing, flexible, puck sized lantern is very functional and does a decent job doing flashlight work . Besides the bright main light the night light is great with its yellow/orange tint is prefect for having on before bed or would be good for kids who need a little light at night. Best of all it glows in the dark for a long time. Makes it easy to find in the early am. It can be hung with its clip or with the flat bottom it can just sit on a table. It feels very durable and so far it has done great, even surviving being rolled up in my tent and stuffed away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great lantern!! I hardly ever love a product enough to write a review -- but I couldn't help but want to share how great I think this lantern is. It is so compact....and I love how you can lift the top up to give off more light. It gives off a LOT of light and the dimming settings are amazing! Especially the amber light setting. Perfect for mood lighting at night. I've used this camping, at hotels at night (to have some nice lighting) and when the power goes out. I now own 4 of them....and have them scattered around my home in case of emergencies and power outages. If you're looking for a great lantern with tons of light -- that's super'll be very pleased with this one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from really awesome lattern This lattern is amazing and would buy again. It puts out way more light than my little gas lattern. Wasn't sure at first if I really needed it, but I'm sure glad I picked this light up, will be nice to have it in my kit. I have a candle lattern, and a primus lattern that are both nice, but this lamp will run for 30 hours on high, blasting out at 100 lumens, 60 hours at 50 lumens, which I couldn't really tell the difference between the two. So, yes buy this lattern if you are thinking about adding on to your kit, or just to have in the house for power outages.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little light I bought this for a recent camping trip and it's great! Small and easy to pack, and light enough to hang from any nearby branch or tent ceiling. We didn't realize until after camping that there are a few different light settings, so it doesn't have to be as bright as when you first turn it on. I like that the cone part is glow in the dark too so it's easy to find even when it's turned off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Portable Lantern I picked one up off the shelf on the way out to a trip when I forgot my propane lantern. It hasn't left my side since, great diffusion of light and the brightness is perfect for a whole picnic table, or the inside of a car. I also really like the low light setting, its a much warmer color. Its light and compact, hasn't left my backpack since.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bought 1st for nightlight bought 2nd for camping Wonderfully compact, yet bright light. 3 settings and then a night light as well. Easy on the batteries(rechargeable nimh work well) - Silicon top did come off one but was easy to repair. We now have 2 and they both work well. Highly recommended for table, tent or night light

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Camping made Awesome!!! BF bought one and tried it out a home, I decided right there that I had to have one for myself when camping, so got another before we went camping for the first time this summer!! Only a 2 night car camping trip to ease ourselves into summer, but these lights were such an awesome commodity!! After the sun set, we used them for cooking, in the tent, going to the bathroom etc etc!! Love how they glow for AGES after turning them off too!!! We may purchase some more for just using around the camp site when camping with friends and family....!!

Bought this light lady year around September. Went to check it the other day and it would not turn on. I checked and double checked the batteries and still no worky worky. Question is they're any known problems with the switch or LED bulbs. Thanks

Asked by: Vince

Does this lantern hung upside down, base up & light facing downward?

Asked by: Old Alaskan
Yes, that is correct. The hook is on the base of the light so it hangs upside down with the light facing downward.

I can't turn it off. I can click through the modes on my lantern but when I press and hold, it does not turn off.
