Lightweight, easy to deploy

After several annual trips of intense sun and heat, we were surprised- and unprepared- when we encountered an overnight rainstorm. Lucky for us another backcountry camper had deployed an ENO Rain Tarp over the food prep area, and was kind enough to share some space under it. Before our next trip, I purchased this particular version to keep in my own backpack for trips. And we have used it- albeit as shade from the sun. It's compact (comes with its own ditty bag) and lightweight, and although it's easier to put up with two people, it can be put up by a single person. It also seems to be relatively durable, by backpacking standards.

amazing!

Had this over a year now. In my opinion, the size the weight ratio is great. Keep you well protected from rain and wind. Super easy to set up. I use snake skins to keep it packed away for super easy set up. One thing I would recommend is changing out the tie down cords. I don't think they are very durable. I changed then out after the first use.
