Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for your ENO hammock I've had my ProFly now for about 7 years. I have used it in driving rains and dry deserts. I try to pick a place where I can tie down at least one side to trees or vertical supports. This way the side can be lifted up easy to let the sun and breeze in when dry. Adjust the tie downs low and you are good to go against some of the hardest rains. I suggest setting the fly up low and the hammock high into the top of the fly. This will keep you "inside" the fly nicely on those really windy days/nights. I did replace the standard ties with reflecting line and "9" tie downs. Makes for a better experience at night when the last thing you want to do is trip over lines.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME !! I had but a few minutes until a severe thunder storm deluged me and I had absolutely no problem setting up the rain fly and avoiding getting wet. It was so very simple to set up even being my first time with this product. I stayed perfectly dry all night long through the inclement weather and I loved it. I used it in conjunction with a double-nester and slept like a baby. I have a micro-lite sleeping bag in addition to the hammock and pro-fly and they all can be easily packed and stowed on the rear rack of my bike! I have nothing but praise for this item.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Held up in a Blizzard The Eno Prolfy is an awesome product. I used this for a weekend in Julian, CA when the forecast called for heavy rains for 2 days straight. I set this up in the rain in a matter of minutes. It poured down rain for 6 hours straight and as night fell it turned into a blizzard with gusts of 30 mph and heavy sleet, hail and then snow. I woke up to 7 inches on the ground. No condensation on the underside. I can't yet speak for durability over multiple uses, but as far as I can tell now, this thing is money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every penny I carried it with me on a three day hammock backpacking trip, where I only had to use it one night. It was very simple to set up using sticks as ground stakes, and adjusting the tension with the integrated tensioners and included cordage. I do feel the length could use an additional 6in or more, but I think I have a tendency to hang my hammock a bit too tight. Regardless, it rained throughout the second night of our stay, and both my friend and I (he has the same one) stayed completely dry. It even seemed to help fend off mosquitoes..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome System! I've had the ENO Hammock for some time - have enjoyed it tremendously. Have used a lightweight backpacking tent for years, but with three girls decided we would try out using hammocks for back packing. We could not be more pleased - this weekend in the N GA mountains if poured - we were miles into day one and just got camp set up which was quick and easy (including the bug net) when the rumble came from a distant storm. Net, it rained all night - we were bone dry, even our packs and shoe's which were tucked under us remained dry. Same thing the second night - two big thunder storms blew through. What was really nice was the ability to guy out and use trekking poles to create a "porch" which three of us sat under and played cards while it rained. This is by far the best lightweight system I've ever used, and unless you are camping in the desert or high above the tree line this system is awesome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Water Tight - Worked Great! Bought sets for the family along with the Jungle Nest Hammocks. Worked nice even with light overnight rain. The combo made it bug free and dry. Very nice!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps water off I use this over my ENO Double Nest. I've had one night under it with light to moderate rains, and it kept me completely dry. I have not used this in a storm, but based on the design and coverage, it looks like it would keep you dry in a windy, wet storm as long as you get the pitch right for the conditions. It's easy to setup up, but you may want some extra utility cord and some stakes depending on where you're setting up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works for me. Just finished a MTB/camping trip at Bear Creek near Ellijay GA with a 90% chhance of rain that evening. At about 8pm the rain started and continued till well after I was a sleep. I stayed dry as did my pack which was placed on a couple sticks of firewood below me. I was concerned that the water would flow down the straps and on to my hammock but as the water hit the carabiner it fell to the ground and everything past the biner remained dry.

Set up the ProFly for the first time today, and it was pretty simply and fast. Taking it down and packing it away was a little trickier. What's the best way to fold the ProFly and pack it away alone, with minimal contact on the ground?

Asked by: DoctorD
If you have access to a flat surface like a table, you can use this to assist in keeping the tarp off the ground. If not, you may need to place part of it on the ground until you have folded it small enough to hold it up off the ground. You will then continue to fold it until it is small enough to fit back in the stuff sack.
