Helpful piece of kit that lunches above weight.

Temperature rating is just about spot on. I’ve spent two nights in it so far, once at 35 degrees, and another touching 29. Night one was comfortable. Night two was survivable.

Worth the investment

I have been taking the hammock out a lot earlier this year than normal when the temps were dropping down into the mid 30's to mid 50's. Initially I used a blanket or a sleeping back to protect my underside from the draft. Initially it worked but trying to move around made it such a hassle, especially with two people it took away from the experience. During REI's sale in May I thought I would give this a try. It has definitely lived up to my expectations and I am happy I made the purchase.

Good for the price.

I bought this to extend my hammock seasons. All in all it did exactly what I needed. The weekend after I received it I took it on a late November two night trip. It preformed well the temperature got into the middle 30’s and was damp and windy. The under quilt preformed well paired with my 20° Down Bag. If I had any complaints it would be that it doesn’t compress as well as a down under quilt.

Bad product!

This under quilt is way too bulky, and heavy for backpacking. Not easy and quick to attach, plus one of the plastic little loops broke the first time I use it. I am not even talking about how cold I was in it. It's going back to REI.
