Rated 1 out of 5 by from Made my Vietnamese Girlfriend Cry This has NOTHING to do with Beef Pho. We were excited to try this because we get pho at lot in the bay area. Pretty much a food staple out here. We could tell by the color of ther broth that this was going to be odd. After eating it, it is glorified top ramen. Who puts carrots and mushrooms in pho? She says its closer to a Vietnamese curry than pho. And its not really close to a Vietnamese curry. If you go into this knowing that its just top ramen, its not bad. Its a step up from that. But its NOT beef pho.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not edible and nothing like Pho or Ramen. This in no way resembles Pho, or even Ramen. I was a hungry backpacker down a meal because of this flop. I do not recommend even entertaining this meal. I love pho, I even like Top Ramen or imported Ramen and Udon, the noodles were terrible and flat, the broth was not edible. I recommend Beef Stroganoff, Beef Stew and Chicken Teryiaki as the best meals I've had for backpacking food. I'd rather eat those for a month than ever come across this again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as good as expected from other reviewer The smell when I opened the pack almost stopped me from eating it. Adding the water cut down on the smell but didn't nullify it. The added lime packet didn't help liven the flavors either. Wouldn't recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delicious, and probably better with the spice pack Pretty good, but a little bland. I realized with only two bites left that I forgot to add the spice packet. I added the spice packet to the two remaining bites. This was a poor decision. The last two bites were not bland.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not Pho, but not bad Definitely not Pho, however it still taste pretty good. Especially for a pack packing meal.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I would've imagined Pho being one of the easiest foods to replicate, but I was wrong. The noodles do not have the same consistency, the sauce and soup flavors were off. We all family-style shared a bunch of meals and this one came second to last. There has got to be a little more effort in this, because easily Pho could be a popular food option for those who want a comfort night-post-hike meal!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow, awesome meal! Perfectly filling for two hungry hikers. It tasted like takeout, not backpackers' food! I loved that you can add as much of the sriracha powder as you want. I am going to try to make beef pho at home after eating this!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would eat this again I'm really surprised that some people hated this so much I had this for lunch on day 3 of a 4 Day hike and thought it was the best new thing I tried in a while
