Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keep your gear off the ground Works as advertised. Love my hammock, and love keeping my gear off the ground. Pack, water and other items are easily reachable from the hammock above. Made it very easy to pack up, and sort gear while in camp. Had no issues setting it properly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Gear Access This sling makes getting to your clothes and gear very easy when you are in your hammock. I have used it multiple times and is easy to use in conjunction with the rest of the ENO system. I use an REI XT85 and there is plenty of room in this sling for my back and additional water. Well worth the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from keeps everything easy to get I love this thing, I hammock camped without it and was always getting out to get things I forgot to keep with me in the hammock. I tie it to my hammock straps, and it lays off the ground right under me, easy to move around and surch for things. love it wont hammock camp without it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great sling this is a good design but its hard to get it just right if you make it to tight it rubs you in your hammock and if it too loose you can't reach easy and if you pack is to big it will hang out a liitle bit overall good

Does this fit close enough to the bottom of the hammock to also use as an underbelly insulation to protect the underside from getting cold on chilly nights? Or is this adjustable enough to do so? Thanks.

Asked by: Gear-nut Rob
While the Underbelly has the ability to be pulled fairly close to the bottom of the hammock, it unfortunately will not provide much in the way of additional insulation. Sleeping pads with R-value are the best way to add insulation to your hammock. ENO also makes a product called the HotSpot Hammock Sleeping Pad Wings (REI item #830279) to add more insulation and keep your sleeping pad centered in the hammock. http://www.rei.com/product/830279/eno-hotspot-hammock-sleeping-pad-wings

What are the dimensions of this thing? I'm kinda interested in letting our daughter use this, she's almost 2, and would love a hammock of her own, just like daddy's.

I wouldn't advise using the gear sling as a hammock for any individual - while the maximum weight for the sling is around 50 pounds humans and it technically could hold a small child - the risk of the child falling from the sling or the sling giving way during a weight shift is just too great. I'd advise getting a ENO SingleNest for children. While your child may be enveloped in the SingleNest at the least you know the straps are secure and will handle their weight and movements.

As of July 2016 we do not have any plans to stock the Underbelly Gear Sling in any other colors besides Forest.

Has anyone used this with the guardian bugnet? Can both easily be used at the same time? Any complications from using the underbelly sling with the guardian bug net? Thanks.

Asked by: Steak
The Underbelly Gear Sling will work perfectly with the ENO Guardian Bug Net.

Would this be compatible with the asym classic from hennessy Hammock?

Asked by: LegoMan0305
The Underbelly Gear Sling can rest under another hammock but may need additional assistance to secure it to the anchor points.
