I love this shoe, it perfectly compliments my rotation as a plated long run shoe, I have the zoom fly 6s as well, but these feel better underfoot. I have had 6 pairs of new balances and every pair has been amazing.
The best shoes, super comfy, I love them but I love more the color and the style.
Great for daily runs at medium to high speeds. They are definitely not comfortable for walking or short, slower-paced runs. If you are getting back into running or are a beginner runner, this may not be the best option for you. I am returning to training and running after 5 years. My first 3 runs were 3 miles each and it was quite uncomfortable and painful in the arch of my foot due to the carbon plate. I just bought the Fresh Foam 1080v14. I will go back to using these shoes once I am ready. Although these did not work for me for now, I have definitely become a loyal NB customer.
Poor durability They didn’t even get to 200km before starting to fail. At 250km there was less than .5mm of foam under forefoot. And my shinsplints came back. “Wear and tear” i’m told from new balance
I purchased these shoes from a local running store in n April 2025. Within a month, the insoles began to fail on me. They back themselves out the shoe and jam the heel
Great daily running shoes . Grippy. Comfortable (my feet, chins, knees, hips, and back feel great. Great for daily running and long runs. Highly recommend them.
Great trainers, cushioned ride, protects you very well at higher mileage.
Great cushion on this shoe. I use it for workout classes to provide stability, traction and cushion. The cushion is outstanding and the traction is good. I’ve had many NB shoes and they have always ran true to size, but these seem to be a little loose around the mid-foot. I tightened up the laces and they work fine, but I wonder if 1/2 size smaller would help. Otherwise, stellar looking shoe and very comfortable.
I like the shoe, but I'm just not sure if they are irregular or not. It feels like the inside of the sole in the back half of the foot is softer than the outside of the sole. So when I stride, my ankles want to bend in an akward position. Its very slight, but none of my other New Balances have ever felt this way. And I have had dozens of pairs of NB's over the years.
Toe Box like a Geisha - someday New Balance will make a shoe that actually is open enough for the toes to work rather than be pinched together. There are ZERO studies that support a narrow, pointed toe box being more biomechanically efficient. Would love a technical shoe where I could actually use my toes
