[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been running in the New Balance FuelCell Rebel v5 for a little over a month now, and honestly, I’ve been really impressed. I had been looking for something lightweight but still cushioned enough for daily runs, and they’ve hit that sweet spot. The ride feels soft underfoot but still has a nice bit of pop when I pick up the pace which is perfect for easy miles and the occasional tempo. They fit true to size for me, with a secure midfoot and just enough room in the toe box to stay comfortable on longer runs. The upper feels snug without being restrictive, although it can get a little warm on hot days. Traction has been solid on dry pavement, and even in light rain they’ve held up well. After around 150 km, they’re showing minimal wear, which is better than I expected given the exposed foam in the midfoot. If I had to nitpick, they’re not the most stable on sharp turns or super fast efforts, but that’s not what I need them for anyway. Overall, they’ve become my go-to shoe for most runs - comfortable, fun to run in, and surprisingly versatile.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super comfortable with perfect fit, great traction, durable build, and excellent support for all-day wear. Reasonably priced & affordable!
Excellent shoe that runs fast without sacrificing cushioning. Even on double digit mile runs this shoe provides comfort, and also feels fast on the track during speed workouts. A great all purpose shoe to have in your lineup.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My gosh! These shoes are amazing- unbelievable comfort and so stylish too. Getting my boyfriend more colour ways now, his new favourite shoes. Amazing support for your feet amazing for runs and long walks
If you’re a new runner who moves at the speed of a thoughtful power walker but wants to feel like you’re gliding through the Boston Marathon, the FuelCell Rebel v5s are your delusional little miracle.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just tried the New Balance FuelCell Rebel v5 (Men’s)—well, technically my partner did—and he absolutely loved them! From the moment he put them on, he said they felt incredibly lightweight and responsive. The design is super sleek, with that race-inspired mesh upper and bold midsole that really makes a statement. Definitely a standout shoe. The FuelCell midsole (a mix of PEBA and EVA foams) gives that perfect balance of cushion and bounce. He said it felt super energetic underfoot—great for both long runs and quick tempo sessions. It’s got that "ready to race but comfy enough to train in every day" vibe.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was a pretty nice low-drop trainer. At first it felt a bit weird but I got used to it later on. The cushion inside was very comfy. The design is awesome.
Soft and bouncy at the same time. Light and comfortable at the same time
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The New Balance FuelCell Rebel v5 is a standout running shoe that combines speed, comfort, and versatility. The FuelCell midsole provides a super responsive and springy ride, making it ideal for tempo runs, intervals, and even daily training. It feels lightweight yet cushioned, offering great energy return without feeling too soft or unstable. The upper is breathable, secure, and fits like a glove without pressure points. Traction and durability are solid for road running, even in wet conditions. Whether you’re going for a short fast run or stretching out longer miles, this shoe keeps your stride feeling smooth and quick. It’s a great pick for runners who want a fast-feeling shoe that doesn’t compromise on comfort. Highly recommended.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An absolutely amazing runner that has the comfort and speed. The colour way is extremely modern and suits most outfits, especially if you pair it with white or black socks. I’ve experienced no aches since wearing the shoes which I sometimes do with other runners. Incredible traction when running my 10km runs.
