I use these daily and I’m Happy with the look and comfort . I’ll buy another pair soon for my back up .
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With 30 miles on these shoes so far I can already tell that these will be the shoes I wear for my upcoming marathon! I have been loyal to the 1080's for years - and I just got a new pair of them not too long ago thinking they would be my race day shoe in a few months. However, after just getting my hands on these More V6s and having done one long run and a couple of shorter runs I have switched up the plan! As a heavier runner, one of my top requirements for a marathon day shoe is plenty of cushion, and while the 1080s have plenty of that, the Mores are just out of this world soft and bouncy and comfortable! The difference can be felt as I start getting into my longer training runs; they have given me a sense of confidence to attack the higher volume maintenance runs!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the Fresh Foam X More v6 mainly on shorter runs. I primarily wear neutral shoes on all of my runs so I was interested in trying something new out. At first glance, I was surprised at how thick the soles were as it's not a style I've worn before. After lacing up, I was surprised at how comfortable it felt walking around in the shoes. My main concern was the sole thickness but after I started my run, I quickly stopped thinking about it. The bounce back on the shoes felt nice, overall I had a good runs. Would definitely add this to my running shoe selection. Would recommend.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to start out by saying I haven’t ran in New Balance shoes before. At first I was put off by the look of these shoes. They are thick and I wasn’t sure if they would be too heavy to run in. They are a max cushion shoe made for recovery. I took them out for a 5 mile run and I immediately liked how they felt, soft but not squishy. Supportive but not stiff. The toe box had plenty of room. They felt good while running. I’m not sure of the weight but I didn’t notice anything holding me back. I was able to push the speed and still felt great after. Pick these up if you’re looking for a good recovery run shoe.
The New Balance Fresh Foam X More v6 are easily the most comfortable sports shoes I’ve ever worn, with incredibly soft cushioning that still feels stable and supportive during long days on my feet. Since wearing them, I’ve had no more foot or joint pain, even after workouts or extended periods of walking. They feel lightweight, responsive, and perfectly balanced, making every step smooth and effortless.
Very comfortable and well-cushioned shoe. The Fresh Foam midsole feels soft and supportive, especially for long walks and time on my feet. The fit is true to size and the upper feels secure without being restrictive. It does feel slightly bulkier than some other models, but overall the comfort and shock absorption make up for it. A great option for everyday wear and recovery days.
4E is great for arthritis feet In my case, Fresh Foam X More v6 4E is good for my arthritis feet. A little hammer toe, bunions, corns.. what else? Everyone has different needs. If i go to the store and try it on, i may need at lease half an hour to know if it's a good fit. So i just order it online and test it out at home. Hardwood floor, carpet, it's all good. I've had these shoes for a few weeks now, and they're great for outdoor walking. I haven't contacted NB to find out which model has the deepest/largest toe box. Based on my research, Fresh Foam X More v6 (4mm drop) seems to be my best bet. 10% off on your first order. I may ask my wife to order another light color pair later. Here's a little info of my NB shoes: 1080 v9: tight toe box and front bottom too thin 1080 v7: worked. best for me before ordering Fresh Foam X More v6 840v3: tight toe box 1540v2: tight toe box 1540: a little too tight. still wearable and 3 more since 2009
The shoe is really good, i have already compared with other brands and this could be the most comfortable one with a good price
Fantastic recovery cushion for a 190lb runner. Had 2 pairs of More V4's, totally different foam consistency. One amazing, one WAY too soft. This is perfect, and I was nervous about this purchase. 65k in, wanted to wait to share review. Can run a bit faster, but best for slow Z1/2 recovery/base runs. Longest run 13k, cushion consistent whole run. Comfort is top notch, tiedown great. Only feedback would be a preference for certain color combos in 12.5 extra wide, went with wide 12.5- good toebox room, no rubbing, but feel I could use a bit more space to splay. The real test is "do they last 5-600k?"
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never had luck with max cushion shoes in the past because of how unstable they tend to be, so my expectations weren't very high for the FF More v6. After a couple of easy runs in these, I was surprised with how stable the ride was. The fit is secure, they run well right out of the box, and are actually a lot lighter than they look. These are a solid shoe for those easy/recovery days, especially in the later weeks of a training block.
