Best Bag on the Market

The Amber 34 is one of my all time favorite backpacks. I work in the outdoor industry and spend all my free time recreating outdoors therefor I've spent a lot of time researching for a backpack that is comfortable, durable, and includes key features that I need on my adventures. Amber has an adjustable back panel which allows for an accurate fit to the individual- it's also an added bonus if you plan on passing this bag along to someone else in the future. The hip belt and shoulder straps provide excellent comfort. The interior of the bag can be accessed from the top as well as the bottom. Other bonus features include: attachment for trekking poles, rain cover included, plenty of pockets (my favorites being the ones on the hip belt), breathable mesh back panel, and the adjustable hip belt. I've used this bag for various activities including travelling abroad (carry-on size), long day hikes, snowshoeing, X-country skiing, ski touring, school trips and more.

I love this bag!

I absolutely LOVE the Amber 34 backpack as it covers all the necessities. It's extremely comfortable, and provides excellent ventilation in the back panel. Access into the bag (top and bottom) is extremely practical and the hip belt pockets come in handy to store snacks. Other top features of this pack include: hydration compatible, a lightweight rain cover, and deep side pockets for large water bottles. This is my go-to pack for long day hikes and ski touring!

Perfect replacement for my old, beloved pack

The Amber 34 replaces an Arcteryx Khamsin 38 that I've used constantly for the last 20 years. So the Amber has a hard act to follow. It looks like it's up to it. Comfortable, fully and thoughtfully featured with lots of compartments and zippered pockets, it features an adjustable suspension that works for me. I'm looking forward to many hiking, trekking and snowshoe adventures with my Amber 34.

Dark Teal is darker then it shows on the screen

Went to try on the pack at one of the local retailer and it was much darker then the way shows up on any of the online photos (using different computers and iPhones). It quite different and not that nice, actually!. Of course none of the local retailers have the Nocturne Blue nor Arctic Grey in stock!! So be warned if you are purchasing online, the colours aren't quite as they seem.

Perfect for hitting the trails!

I got this for Christmas and I LOVE it!! It is lightweight, yet able to hold everything I need. I took this out for the first time last weekend for a short 2 day backpacking trip and it worked perfectly! I love the color and all the pockets. I highly recommend this pack, so what are you waiting for?

Great basic midsized backpack

This is a good basic backpack. It is big enough to hold 3 liters of water and enough food and supplies to get you through a day long hike. The torso is adjustable so that the waist strap holds the weight of the pack. And it has s as lightweight as can be for a pack this size.

Lots of room

I'm loving this pack. I was looking for one that was a bit bigger than my Osprey but more cost effective. This one delivers just what I wanted. Good adjustable frame, excellent storage and made to take on all my trails. Couldn't be more pleased. Happy, Happy hiker!!

Solid Pack

It's nice that the size is adjustable for a customized fit for torso length and should strap placement. Pack is light-weight and very comfortable for day hiking. Plenty of pockets, zippers are sturdy. Seems well-made and hoping it will last a long time.

Comfortable, durable, and versatile!

I purchased my Gregory pack last fall. The pack is roomy enough for all of my gear. When loaded up, the pack is still very comfortable to wear. There is lots of cushioning on the straps, and the back. It has also held up well during the many uses.
