Love everything about this backpack except for the water bottle pockets on the side of the pack. The mesh they use isn’t stretchy and the elastic isn’t as elastic as other Gregory packs I have, so when the backpack is full it’s difficult to get a 32 oz camelbak water bottle in the pockets. It’s obviously much easier if the pack isn’t full, but if it is, it’s a two handed push to get it to fit. I was able to take the water bottle out of the pocket while wearing it which is a huge bonus, but couldn’t get it back in while the pack is in my back. So close to being the perfect large day hike backpack, but the water bottle pockets were a deal breaker for me.
So disappointed in this backpack! I am 5'2" tall and there is no way this pack is designed for a woman my size; I would need to be at least 6-8 inches taller for it to come close to fitting. I have an older Gregory women's backpack and it fits perfectly; the main reason that I selected this bag. Also it seems much larger than the 24L listed. I ordered online and returned. Guess I'll just stick with my older pack and give up on newer, smaller one.
I purchased online, loaded my normal day hike gear in it to try on. I have a 17 inch torso and the top of the bag hit me in the back of my neck when I looked up. Knew this was not going to be comfortable so I returned it. Straps and hip belt were comfy dispite the length issue.
I respect Gregory quality, so I ordered the Juno, as I’m updating my 10 year old daypack. I saw the photos of it so I knew the color was yellow… but when the package arrived at my house, I was horrified at the color. It is kind of a mustardy brownish yellow. I’m not sure what Gregory was thinking, but boy did they get this color wrong. I didn’t bother trying it on. I knew this back would not be for me.
great pack. I'm 5'9 tall and weight approx 165lbs. It fits like a charm. I have taken this pack on long 10-12 hour day trips with zero issue. Some of the other gregory packs in womens sizing are a smidge too short in the torso, but this fits perfect.
