I purchased this pack about a month ago and have used it on all my hikes (3-7 miles). I love it so much! I had REI's Flash 22 but wanted something with a bit more structure, a trampoline back, and no hip belt. After much searching, I came across the Arrio 18 and it checks all the boxes. I do wish there was another small interior pocket, but I have more than enough space. I also wish there were more color choices, and in brighter shades, as I like to be more visible with my pack.
I'm pretty happy for such a durable pack with an internal frame. The hose system holds well, and there is generally enough room for day hiking essentials, but will start to run out of room quickly if you bring heavier clothes. I would maybe prefer a light hipbelt/strap, but there is good airflow allowed because of that gap.
Picked up this pack with the intention of having a light daypack that could still hold a solid amount of stuff that I like to carry with me on hikes, and this has plenty of room! I'm glad I went with the 18, as it's still small enough but has a good amount of storage for all of the things I take. Thanks, Gregory!
I have been using this backpack through airports for two days now and have really even enjoying it. It is very comfortable, although I have family with a wider built body and I wonder if the frame would fit them well (??). It is comfortable for both me and my husband. I just wish it had a little hook for my keys
Seems to be a high quality item, but I don’t think I like the style of the top opening, with the flap compartment, and drawstring to get to the main compartment, so I sent it back. Also I found the drawstring slider difficult to operate, compared to others I have on backpacks and jackets
This is the pack I reach for for day hikes! I love the structure this pack provides and the frame and mesh back keep me from getting too sweaty! Perfect size for a layer or two and trail snacks.
Love this pack for day hikes or an overnight with my fiancé wearing it. Fantastic suspension, but the bottle sleeve needs to be a little deeper.
Perfect size for a day hike and it looks good too. I can't wait to hike the Rim to Rim trail in the Grand Canyon with it!
This bag is exactly what I needed to accommodate my 3L Gregory bladder.
