I had high hopes for this pack, but it quickly disappoints. First, the good parts- it comes with sizable hip belt pockets and a hip belt that is wide enough to not dig into you. It also opens down the sides, so you can more easily pack it and see what is inside. It also has an outside stretchy pocket to throw in a scarf, etc. The cons- the color is awful, I think, but that's fine, if I liked the fit. I don't. It doesn't sit comfortably on my hips and like so many other Gregory packs (such as the Jade 28L) it sits heavy in the hips. The shoulder straps don't seem tailored to a woman's body. The bag materials feel cheap. To be fair, it is a less expensive bag than most. But, it feels more like a Jansport backpack with a hip belt than a bag I would hike with. It also holds less than my 28 L, so not sure what is up with that! The inside has a rigid frame that really affects where you put items. For example, I usually put a notebook in the inside sleeve, but this pack has a rigid "frame" running down both sides, so I can't put a standard size notebook in it at all, anywhere, without bending it. It's made for a water bladder, which I don't use. For me, this pack serves no uses in my life. The pockets are too small and it feels cheap.
