I've hiked about 13mi with this pack so far including a 13er and it's great! I love the color, the wide hip belt, and Gregorys hydration system. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish the back panel was adjustable like Osprey. Otherwise I think it's perfect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an incredible hiking backpack! The one I used before didn’t have a hip strap, nor was it as lightweight. This one is durable, light to carry, offers support, and even has awesome zip pulls. I love the color; it makes it easier to find my items when it’s bright blue. Overall, it’s wonderful! My new favorite backpack!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a high quality day hiking backpack. It is made of durable light weight material. It has great support. I love the pockets and straps so it does move size to side when walking. I wish it was a bit longer and a little roomier in size. I love the blue color too. Both sides has holder for water bottle.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This back pack is excellent. It’s well made and very sturdy. Has a back support that goes around you. A place for your drink. Several separate compartments. Zippers work well. Love this shade of dark blue. Stitching is well done. My Grandson is using it for his travel soccer team bag for his gear, drinks and food. He loves it and was so thankful for it. I’m very satisfied with this product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this backpack! I cannot wait to use it on our beach hike this summer, it is the perfect size, strong material and is so versatile with tons of pockets. Lots of space!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been saying I want to get away, and who knew I would get this beauty? I love the design! It's very roomy so I can add whatever I want. Lightweight, so no feeling weighed down.
I have been using the Gregory Women's Jade 24 LT Pack since August 2024 and it is one of the best day packs I have ever used. The pack has a lightweight frame that adds support and my back and shoulders no longer hurt after a long hike. The pockets are perfect. I am able to fit my phone in the hip belt pockets, which is really convenient for photos. The side pockets fit massive water bottles and it is hydration bladder compatible. I like the yellow color. I am 5'2" and the pack works for me.
I bought the Jade 24 to replace a Maya 25 that I had come to hate. The Jade 24 is a streamlined, simple pack, the type of Gregory pack I used to have in the past. This capacity, 24 L does require an internal frame. The Maya 25 doesn't have an internal frame and if the pack isn't full (sometimes hikes don't require a full pack), it will flop like crazy, and it's hard to fill. Even if the Jade 24 doesn't completely stand on its own, at least it will not fold itself in half when not full and when trying to fill it or rest it on the ground. The Jade 24 zippers are easy to access and aren't covered by the side straps of the pack, something that drove me crazy with the Maya 25 because it required a lot of fiddling to grab the zipper ends, often ending up opening the water pouch compartment. I like the Jade 24 zippered front pocket because it's much easier to use unlike the mesh of some other packs like the Maya 25 or even Jade 28 that I have. Things always get caught in the mesh and I hated that buckle to secure the mesh. The Jade 24 has a narrow profile and is a classic pack. It's comfortable and well-made. I had to inspect it carefully because the Maya 25 had several factory defects that I discovered later on. Also, the pockets of the Jade 24 are large enough for a bottle of water (quart), and the size of those pockets is perfect to secure the bottles well. The size of the Maya 25 pockets were twice larger causing the bottles to not stay steady during the hike. I'm glad Gregory returned to the right formula for this type of packs.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gregory Jade 26 LT is one of the BEST backpacks we have owned. This Gregory backpack came in time for our Grand Canyon trip. My husband wore the backpack during our long 8 hour hike at the Grand Canyon. We love the backpack because it has lots of zippers with compartments. It hold lots of things. It is lightweight and very well made. Both my husband I highly recommend this backpack, you will not regret it.
This is my first true hiking pack. Sternum and hip straps make such a difference! It takes off so much weight off my shoulders and back. I was able to hike miles and not feel fatigue in my back. Love the molded, ventilated back. The built in emergency whistle is a great touch. In love with the navy color. Probably my favorite gear purchase to date!
