Awesome grip/Comfy shoe
First impression is - Amazing! I've been wearing Vans forever and was some what skeptical. I fell in love with them in the first 10 mins. Super sticky on my TMAC pedals, was super comfy the entire ride and look awesome! They look beefy in the toe area with thick rubber and thick leather like material. I did put in my own new insoles but I have a super high arch. My only complaint is that Vans didn't use as super Cush sole on this one but they need to. I highly recommend. These are way more comfortable than my 510 pros
Pretty Good
Comfy and grip flats pretty decent. Before this I had to use Vans that had the MTE bottom and that always worked well for flat pedals, however, these are much better and are built to withstand a beating compared to the suede materials.
Great for MTB and look good too!
I love these shoes. Wear them all day and they're ready to ride at a moments notice. Sole is stiff enough for flats (with aggressive inserts) but compliant enough for every day use. Takes a bit to get them broken in, but I wont be going back to competitors shoes.
No tongue, shoe has small hole to fit foot into.
Can't even get my foot in the shoe. I have a high instep and the shoe has no tongue to open up. They seem like they could be a decent shoe.
Just a niggling fault
Comfy and look good for urban commute; but a tiny tear on the seem of the ankle padded sock revealing sponge inside …… takes the edge off new purchase…… can’t be bothered to send back - will probably sew myself if it opens up further :(
Bomb proof and comfy
Great shoes, my son is currently using them for MTB and they do the job very well.
