very comfortable

Comfortable. Good at keeping sweat out of your eyes. Easily adjustable fit; it stays on. Not cheap, but it’s REI.

Tags ruin it.

This comes with two big 3" tags sewn into the headband, not the tiny white rectangle shown in the photos. I emailed Janji and their response was not to cut the stitches, but you can cut the tags leaving the remainder to scratch and rub against your head. Disappointed that in 2025 Janji would use sewn in tags in what is supposed to be lightweight technical wear. Otherwise a decent visor but still may return it.

Visor won't stay down =s no sun protection

Foe the first few weeks of use, I loved this visor at first- great fit, snug at the hairline/forehead, and lovely fabric. But after a month of use, the visor started flipping up on its own, leaving me without sun protection. I'd have to adjust it multiple times during a run. And when you're training hard for a race, doing that is a nuisance. I contacted Janji with some product suggestions as I hope a new version will improve this issue. It's fine if your primary goal is sweat absorption... but thats not why I bought it (writes the person who has had 1 carcinoma removed and hopes to make it my only!). In contrast, the Sun visor this one was meant to replace has lasted over 3 years and 4000+ miles of backpackingand running. And the brim still works perfectly - it was just starting to show a lot of wear and tear, and I figured it was time for something new. I wish this was a hat that would stand the test of time. Hopefully the 2.0 model will!

Light and comfortable

This visor exceeded my expectations. It's light, adjustable, comfortable for long times on trails, and washable. More colors would be nice.

freakishly light

The visor has held up well so far to being tossed in my backpack, and is so light that I forget it's in there.
