Nice hefty jacket for cold days. Good quality and I opted for embroidery on the arm. No mistaking that it is mine! My family thinks its a cool jacket (as in cool, nice, not cool temperature :) ). It's a good fit - ample room (size Large). If I'm being honest, the sleeves could be just a half inch longer and it would "feel" even better.

Well-made, quality jacket. Has both a zippered exterior breast pocket (perfect for glasses) as well as an inner pocket with separate spaces for things such as keys, cellphone etc, that each Velcro shut. Hood is very roomy, and the drawstrings don't dangle in the way. Good zipper. The fabric is pretty stiff out of the package, but I believe that means it will last.

I ordered the Saddle color in size Large. The color I received is darker than shown and actually more of a green shade. No problem, I like that. It fits as expected, and there's enough room for light layering underneath. I could easily go down to around 0F with layering. Wearing just a light long-sleeve wicking layer it is plenty warm enough from 30-40F even when not active. The fleece lining is not a deep plush but it's plenty to keep you warm. The adjustable hood is large and you really need to wear a ball cap to keep it from obscuring your vision - but it definitely keeps out any rain or snow! The slash front pockets could benefit from zipper closures but it's not a big deal. The inside pockets are handy and useful. It's a well-built quality jacket with no frills, just what you need. The canvas seems plenty rugged, I don't have to worry about babying it. In a light cold spitting rain there were no problems staying dry, water just beads up and rolls off. I'm happy with this purchase and would buy it again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Didn't need to wear it until today, the first cold and windy day in NYC since last March. It keeps the rain at bay (drops beaded up on the canvas) and kept me warm on my way to work this morning with icy winds between 17 and 25 MPH. The hood is oversized which, to my surprise, is a good thing. As a bonus, it looks sharp in casual, business or dressed up. The price, for me, makes it irresistible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All the specs for the jacket are there, it’s warm, comfortable, soft, etc. the only problem is that it runs very BIG. I ordered a medium and it feels & looks like an extra large size. Not terrible, just unexpected for its intended use. If you order, get a size below what you are.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good carhart alternative is one of the few sherpa lined coats with the sherpa lining in the sleeves i coulld find which I prefer and less than half the price of the similar offering from carhart so was very happy with the jacket and it seems well made so overall decent product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great quality jacket! It's warm and fits well in the hip area (I carry extra weight there). The pockets are great and the hood is too. I just hope the softer wrist cuff material will hold up as long as the rest of the jacket will. Really happy!
