every day wear
Bought this when searching for a softshell to wear in light rain or cold while mountain biking. It’s turned into my go to jacket. If it’s a little colder (below 40f) a wool sweater and the jacket go great together and are very warm. 10/10 would buy again

Nice Jacket - but too narrow sleeve opening.
Decent enough lightweight jacket of good quality, but I have large-ish (but not freakish) hands and find that the sleeve openings are frustratingly narrow. Makes it nearly impossible to pull sleeves over any type of glove, and tends to interfere with a base layer. Breathability is average. Fits true to size.

Superb quality and fit

I used this soft shell hoody on my recent summit of Mt Baker. The build quality is fantastic and I absolutely enjoy the color scheme. The soft shell did a perfect job of keeping me the right temperature while also venting my excess sweat. I would recommend this to anyone!

Similar to the old Ferrosi Grid jacket

I bought this last year and really like it. I loved the Ferrosi Grid jacket but that seems to be discontinued. This is a good replacement. Its more windproof than the Ferrossi (non-grid) and thicker/more durable. I wasn't a fan of the Non-grid Ferrosi, it doesnt provide much warmth or wind resistance. I wear this mtb and working outside doing construction and it has held up. Once this wears out I probably would by it again. The fit of OR jackets works for me and its hard to find jackets that are good for long torsos like mine.

The Best Lightweight Jacket

This is the perfect lightweight jacket. Got it for those spring and fall days when its chilly in the mornings around 40°F and warms up to around 70°F in the afternoon. Can wear it all day on days like that and not get cold in the mornings or too hot in the afternoon. The water repellency is just bonus.

Nice Jacket...Except...

A nice quality lightweight jacket with a major flaw (for me). The sleeve openings are very narrow. I have large hands and trouble getting on/off, additionally base layers bunch up inside the sleeve openings. Accessing my watch is a PITA. Otherwise a fine jacket.

I haven’t been on the trail with it yet but it’s been good with a mid layer as well as by itself in the mornings in the city. It fits well with a mid layer thin fleece but that’s a pretty personal thing. I like it and would recommend it.

Really great light jacket

I bought this before a trip to the UK. It was great. On colder days I’d through on a hoodie or crew neck sweatshirt underneath and was comfortably warm. It also repels water better than I expected. Roomy pockets as well. 6’4”, 215 lbs.

Highly recommended

Rarely leave reviews but this soft shell hoodie is so good in every way I felt compelled to help others out. Super stretchy, good enough waterproofing and windproofing, and thank you OR comes in tall.

Awesome lightweight soft shell

Extremely comfortable and very stretchy in a good way. Definitely will want to layer underneath it when temps get below 50f or so. I find myself wearing this any chance I get now.
