Not bad. A bit tight across chest.
Overall not a bad jacket. I usually get size mediums and this was on sale in large and it provides enough room for some layering if I want. Sleeve length is good - I have long arms. The inner drop pockets are a nice touch as is the chest pocket and the brushed fabric lining in the front pockets. Even in large, it can get tight across the chest when I move my arms around. It is a heavier jacket. The outer shell is pretty thick and rugged feeling. Too thick for say going on a run on a cool morning. More like something I'd wear if I was chopping wood and hauling logs. Good wind resistance. I tested it out on a 15 F night with a thick wool sweater, an 800-fill down vest underneath and the wind resistance made it feel warmer than I'd expect.
Boulder Gear Jacket
After reading previous reviews was skeptical about size and quality of manufacturing. Am happy with the purchase. So far it’s a nice, well constructed, warm, jacket for Oregon fall weather. Feels like it’s built to last.
Heavy coat
Not a jacket, more like a coat. 2-3 x's heavier than it looks / advertised. It's listed as "casual." Perhaps in Montana.
