Super comfort shoes, but not good quality... I just bought these pair starting september and receive them like a week later, I tried them and was great, felt them super comfy. But I just weared them a whole month an then the sole started to present cracks, so basically are not waterproof at all. And its membrance over the shoe started to detach. I feel bad for these shoes, because I really had high expectations but i ended quite dissapointed. And are not cheap shoes. Again, comfy shoes for sure, NOT waterproof and not good quality.
Love these boots! I wear them everywhere. They are good in all types of weather, even a reasonable amount of snow. Been up 14ers, tons of trails, snowshoeing on flat land. One thing, you need to wear medium thickness socks that go above the top of the boot. Will definitely buy again though!
Haven't used them yet but I am already disappointed. Both my boots are labeled as size 8 but they are not the same physical size. I contacted Merrell and was told that this was not an issue and they have since stopped responding to my replies.
I am thrilled to wear these shoes; they are very comfortable and waterproof, perfect for hiking. I am a hiker from Thailand.
We love to hear it! Thank you.
I was super excited to try out my new Merrells at Snowden here in the UK last week. Positives - comfort - grip on muddy terrain and on boulders - support - saved my ankles when I slupped on the downhill Negatives - none UNTIL I was tying the left boot on the last day of the trip and the eyelet snapped!!’ Incredibly disappointing to experience this in the first outing of these new ones. I live in the UK so retuning is going to be a Royal pain.
Not the best Merrell product I’ve owned. Have only been worn 10ish times on paved roads, already have a few gouges in the sole. Little worried about how they will hold up on our mountain hikes. Super comfortable and waterproof, but not overly impressed with the soles….
We value your feedback. We'd love the opportunity to help at 800-288-3124.
Fantastic hiking shoes - they wore in super nicely, are super comfortable, breathe well, stay dry and look great! Went hiking in Glacier NP, Yellowstone NP, and Grand Tetons NP recently and they did really well.
I’ve had these boots for about three months and they’re trash! Soles have come apart, won’t stay laced and they grab everything but the trail. So dissatisfied
Put 30 miles on them after a short break in Hiking to Havasupi falls and down canyon lived support and light weight comfort. Will buy more.
Thank you for sharing your adventures with us!
I’ve worn the Moab hiking for years in Southern Appalachia. However, after moving to New England, I needed a shoe with more grip on exposed rock. After trying a few competitors, I came back to Merrell, this time with the Rogue. The Rogue has been every bit of the shoe I hoped for: comfortable, durable, and grippy (even on a wet surface). I’ve thrown away all my other hiking shoes and grab the Rogue whenever I’m going to a trail. I also have the Thermo Rogue and love it just as much for winter adventures (although I usually wear them with spikes).
