Flashy and Custom Fit

These TSL snowshoes are even easier to get a custom fit with no readjustment if you wear the same shoes. They promote a nice natural walk, they grip hard snow really really well but float, they don't. That's okay because I have snowshoes that float, these are transportation ready! The best part is they never slip off your feet, they are incredibley comfortable and there is no learning curve, but if you need help they have a website. Now here is what may be a deal breaker for some - they are narrow. You will not get pac boots into these. I have long, narrow feet. I am on the last notch and I wear a size 11 shoe. So keep that in mind if you have size 13 W. I love that they come in a breathable storage bag. Its nice not having snow shoes lined up aginst the wall. I'm in Alaska and our snow starts as fluffy and powdery but after a few days the air dehydrates the snow and it starts packing down and getting ice hard. These shoes can handle both conditions with no slippage. The Symbioz also have somewhat agressive crampons and that makes going uphill a breeze. Solid 4.5. I also love the Boa custom fit. Half a point off because they could have made them a little bigger in the footplate, and because the deck is on the heavy side and not really built for flotation. If you want an effortless, natural stride and something comfortable and easy to wear and if your foot is slim, this is the shoe for you. I'm really happy with it. Very well engineered.
