First pair of purchased snowshoes after some excursions with borrowed gear. The traction seems good, the trail had been traveled by others before me, and was hard packed and a little icy. The bindings seem fairly straight forward for the on and off transition. The molded plastic generates more noise than I expected. It may be different when trail breaking. I stepped on the tips a few times causes some small scratches at the inside toe corners of both snowshoes in the plastic material. Spent a couple of hours on the trail and looking forward to getting back out this week.
they worked great. The only issue i had was the binding system not being super easy to fit. It could very well be that it was the first few times using them and that they were not broken in. They were good in the weird spring snow. The problem from my recent outing was that someone ruined the snowshoe trail by going boots only and made some obnoxiously deep holes. The snowshoes were unfortunately not big enough to completely avoid them (absolutely no fault of the snowshoes lol)
