Have only used these once due to snow drought in WI but they seemed to work well. I especially like the BOA binding like that on bike shoes and helmets. Have some concern of abrasion on the binding cuff where it covers the top of your boot laces.
First time out in these was on mostly flat terrain with only five inches of new light snow but they worked well. The bindings are easy to use with gloves and were secure. The binding toe piece didn't mold closely to my boot - there were noticable gaps - but perhaps they will over time. I could tell the plastic bases will be loud on hard snow but that goes with the style. I look forward to testing these next on more varied and rugged terrain.
