so far so good

Both my daughter and wear a woman’s size 9 and these fit great. There are two clips to hold the extra binding strap that will get in the way if you don’t slide them further up the back of the binding. Before moving these, they wouldn’t tighten enough for us but fit perfectly afterwards. Maybe this is the issue other women have had? Been on two hikes with these so far and they do great with powdery snow as well as ice. We encountered some steep, icy switchbacks and these did not slip at all. They’re pretty light and sometimes I forget I’m wearing them. Overall, we really like them so far.

Not sized for women

I had the impression that this snowshoe was unisex, but it is really meant for wider foot print. I am a female and wear a size 9. It was way too wide. I have to pull it to the very last hole and that is not even enough to secure my boots. The straps on the side cut into your foot. I may still keep them on hand for my guy friends.

Limited Ability to Adjust to Boot Size

I wear a women's size 9 boot or shoe, which is a bit on the large size. I tightened the binding strap as much as possible around my Kamik snow boots, but could not make the fit even close to snug. Considered wearing very chunky, heavy Sorells, but they would not fit into the toe portion of the binding and are not great for snowshoeing anyway. Disappointing. Returning.

Working great

I'm 7.5 woman's shoe. Worked great for me. I had to move the 2 sliding clips on each snow shoe that hold the excess straps after I tightened up to fit my boot. I have worn them with Sorel boots. But seems like these could fit almost any shoe size. Nice case to keep them organized and to keep the poles with the snow shoes. I'm very glad I purchased them.

great trail groomer :)

We live in MN and haven't yet convinced my sister to invest in her own pair of X-country skis, so we opted for snowshoes and these were a solid entry level pick. These felt like the right pick since we knew we weren't going to be going out in deep backcountry settings, but mostly on fresh deep-ish snow in some of our great parks in the city. Using these before the fat-bikers can use the mountain bike trails in winter makes for dynamic terrain to cover, and the sizing options worked for both of us. Securing your foot into the snowshoe is intuitive, and the kit that comes with poles is nice. The whole thing feels a bit lightweight and I probably would upgrade for truly heavy usage, but for our context, this was what we needed. The poles feel a bit lightweight in terms of sturdiness vs. weight, but we haven't had a chance to truly test them yet. The one downside of the "package" this comes in (with a nice bag to hold the poles and shoes, btw) is that there's no pouch in there to hold all the adapters for the bottoms of the poles, so we had to rig up a bag to hold them in.
