I keep checking to see if they've changed the design back
I LOVED the old style of no show socks and check here regularly to see if they've added them back, but alas. I had at least 15 pairs and am down to about 10 now. I got a couple pairs of the new ones, as the thinness of the design had caused a few too many walk-throughs and they're a bit thin for darning). They fit MUCH more snugly and are MUCH less comfortable than the old style. As they are they are unwearable for me. They feel like an extra tight latex glove digging in in all the wrong places. Why fix what wasn't broken?

Buy with confidence
Excellent 'no show' sock. I have tried them all. I am a big fan of the original Smartwool 'no show' sock, and was uncertain about ordering after reading the reviews about the new design. Even thought Smartwool changed the cut/fit from the previous generation, these still perform well. I wear these daily with loafers and have no significant issues of the sock showing. I think even the old fans of Smartwool 'no show' will be pleased with the new design.
Too thin and small
I am a personal trainer who uses Vivobarefoot. First off I do absolutely love Smartwool. Other products are great but I got bad news about these. I need a sock that can stand up to a pounding. I want a sock that moves with the motion of me but doesn't feel like its there. The last thing I want to worry about when teaching/performing movements is "did my sock slip off"? I wont buy another. Maybe if they were thicker. I wouldn't pay over $5 for these.
Bring back the first edition
This new iteration is much worse than the first design. I would prefer y'all to charge more for a nice sock than charge the same for a cheaper, inferior product.
