Smartwool  Everyday Hudson Trail Crew Socks

I love Smartwool. However, the socks appeared to be used. Packaging was torn up and the wool socks appeared washed and worn. This is a REI issue not Smartwool. I have a lot of Smartwool socks and love. I'm a little disappointed with REIs quality control on this item. I ordered another pair because it's gift. Hopefully the new order will be good.

I've been wearing these socks for about 2 weeks now. I've used these for hiking, running and around the house to keep my feet warm in those cold mornings. This sock stretches to fit perfectly around your foot without feeling restrictive or two tight. More like a good hug for your feet and ankles. I wish the sock was about 1"" lower, I feel it goes just a little too high on the calf muscle and can slide down. Not that it slid to the my ankle but it would scrunch up. I plan to continue using this for hiking and around the house mostly. I found it to be too warm for running and would prefer something with a thinner top over the foot. I did love that this sock has ample cushioning underfoot and added to the comfort of walking over hardwood and the shoes I was already wearing. #SmartwoolLove

I just got these socks in the mail 2 days before a trip to NC. Wore them right out of the packaging and they were as soft as ever. Wore them on the plane on the way there, and then shortly after landing in NC, was on a 8 mile hike. I know it was no expert hike, but 8 miles nonetheless in a sock that is in their Everyday category says a lot! No matter the product, Smartwool always knocks it out of the park. Would recommend.

I bought these socks for a trip to Alaska in September. My husband recommended the Smartwool brand to me and is an avid hiker. I wore these socks in cold, rainy weather and also around our room. They were great! Very comfortable, not binding like hiking socks can sometimes be. I thought the color and design were cute and I am excited to wear them this winter at home in Michigan.

I purchased several pairs of Smartwool socks to use as ""every day"" socks. The selection was based upon style and cushioning plus warmth. I use them for workouts, mountain biking and just for wear. They fit perfectly and keep my feet warm without being bulky. Thin enough that my feet don't get sweaty. I've loved every Smart Wool socks I've ever owned. Still wearing my first pair bought about 12-ish years ago - and I wear them at least weekly through the winter. I do air dry mine rather than use the dryer.

I have always been active, but in my senior years I've had to deal with arthritis. I love my socks. They keep my feet warm while I 'm busy around the house. By the end of winter I've almost worn them out. They are the best!

I was looking for socks that were not too bulky but had a padded sole for my post back surgery rehabilitative walking. These are perfect! They are very comfortable with just the right amount of cushioning for my soles.

These socks are a lifesaver for me. I have a neuromuscular disease with severe neuropathy and these socks allow me to walk around the house with no shoes on and they ""hug"" my feet and make them feel better!!

I have sensitive feet, especially my toes. These socks are so comfortable with no seam chafe. Nicely padded but not too much. My old Smartwool socks were at least 10 years old, so these are a bargain!
