Beautiful and High Quality Table, Worth the Price

“Wow, that’s a beautiful table,” is what my husband said when he first saw the Dometic GO Compact table for the first time. I really love how it’s not just aesthetically pleasing but also how the legs fold in and fold out at an angle. The bamboo table top is nicely crafted and the table folds up in half with a latch that holds both halves together. There’s a handle for easy carry and the table has 3 different height adjustments. Depending on the chairs we might be using at the time, we use different heights on the table even for cooking. With the Nemo Stargazer chairs we use the coffee table height for cooking since that chair sits quite low. We use Snow Peak Home and Camp burners for cooking on the table and haven’t had any issues with the bamboo surface getting damaged, or becoming warped or discolored in any way so far. After cooking and frying, any grease cleans up easily so we can eat. I do not know that how we use the Dometic GO Compact table is recommended but it works for us and we haven’t had any issues with the quality of the materials so far. The true issues with this table are: 1) it is heavy, 2) it takes up a bit of space when folded up, and 3) REI does not sell the storage bag to carry which is another $40 on the Dometic website. Honestly, there are other similar tables out there also with 3 different height adjustments like the King Camp Bamboo Folding table which is considerably less depending on the size table you get. However, the legs on that table fold parallel to the edges of the table top. It’s amazing how by just having the legs on the Dometic GO Compact table fold in and out at an angle it really give a superior aesthetic compared to other similar tables. I’ve been thinking about getting another one of these tables to setup in a “T” formation; one for cooking and setting up the Dometic faucet with water jug, and the other for eating but I’m still not convinced that’s necessary just yet. Overall, I highly recommend the Dometic GO Compact table. Yes, the price point is high but the quality, the build and the aesthetic of the table are, in my opinion, worth it.

scratch upon arrival and a bit unsteady

I bought this one just a couple of days ago and I’m thinking about where I should return it. When I opened, the side of the table Already scratched and chipped. I thought it would be a bit sturdier but the construct is similar to the 40 to 50 dollars table from Amazon but this one has a wooden look top. But the wood is so easy to scratch bc it came like this. Maybe the material isn’t as good bc of the weight? Unsure if I will keep it At the moment - I’m unsure if I would recommend my friend buying it given the price tag and quality

Great quality and beautifully well made!

I've been searching for a quality camping table with adjustable legs for quite while. This is by far the best one. Very easy to put together. Not only great quality but also aesthetically very pleasing! The wood table top is made out of bamboo and very beautiful. It can be used for any occasion, even for working table.

Sturdy Table

Sturdy and looks great. Was heavier than I expected. Love how you can adjust the height and the way the legs fold in. Not a lightweight table, but if you have the space and can handle the weight, it is a nice addition to to car camping setup.

great table but heavy and awkward

We’ve had this table for a year now and it’s ok. Wish there were a few more options instead of bamboo. Also, when not using the storage bag, find it gets damaged easily during travel and the clips loosen, and the table opens up. Legs are good quality.

I really like the stability and option to adjust the height. I wish it was a bit heavier duty though. It’s gained a few chips in the wood after just a few uses.

Quality piece of outdoor furniture

Really sturdy table of a nice quality, we have only used on highest setting so far and are really pleased. The wood has taken quite a beaten from my husband making cocktails outside our trailer and keeping the ice machine on it and it wipes down without a scratch. All in all a quality buy!
