Versatile and Solid Construction
The table has very solid construction and is super stable in both positions (legs folded and extended). There are no sharp edges and the legs click into position with a very defined click. The raised edge around the perimeter is just enough to keep anything from rolling off the top surface as well as containing minor spills. It folds flat and is perfect for base camping trips and will likely be used around the house when not on a trip.
Sturdy little table
Since the pandemic, we've introduced lunch in the mountains to our weekend jaunts. We took this REI Wonderland Side Table with us and it worked rather well. It was pretty sturdy and at just the right height to not have to bend over too much to reach our lunch and drinks. The good thing about it is if you wanted to have a picnic on the ground and needed something a bit more substantial to put things on, this little table does the trick as well. Once you fold up the legs you can use this on the ground as well. Overall, a very great table and well made
Great Little Sturdy Table
I am super impressed with this table. Strong construction, easy to pack and move around the site, and the perfect height for my low Kelly loveseat! I used the table to refill fuel canisters before departing for our camping trip and it easily supported a 20 pound propane tank. During the trip, we used it to hold the space heater, eat meals, and use as a footrest! It’s compact design when folded flat makes it super easy to pack into the car and I love the flat surface. My previous table was slatted which means things could rather easily tip over. And, the smooth surface is great for card and dice games around the fire! I know that we will use this camping, but also just out in the backyard for movie nights or gatherings!
Sturdy side table
The table is short like an end table. It is great to use while lounging in a camping chair to hold your drink, book, bug spray, sunscreen, etc. It is sturdy with some weight to it so it is unlikely to blow over. It is heavier, so not a great option for carrying long distance. It makes a wonderful addition to our campsite comfortability.
Almost perfect, but for a small design flaw
When I was searching for a small table for my setup, I looked for a few criteria: stability, durability, portability/weight, and ease of use. Stability: The table feels sturdy and will stay put, even in the face of strong winds. The surface feels solid, and won’t bend or damage when faced with a reasonable amount of weight. The top feels almost like a plastic cutting board. Durability: I’ve thrown the table around for transport and storage, and it’s held up well with minimal damage. Portability/weight: The table is heavier than anticipated, but, as mentioned, makes up for this in stability/durability. Ease of use: This is where I had to deduct some points. After a long day, you preferably do not want to have to stress about setting up. I found myself getting frustrated when I found that I pulled out the wrong leg (when folded, the outer, longer leg must be unbent first or else the table will not open). As expected, every time I opened it, I mistakenly pulled the inner leg by mistake. This may be a small detail, but I imagine it would be an easy fix that wouldn’t sacrifice the strength and durability of the table.
Great Collapsible Table
I haven’t had the chance to take this camping, but it makes for a great game table for the little ones in the living room, nice laptop stand, and a good seat (per the kids). I don’t doubt the 50-pound weight rating as it holds 60 pounds worth of kids just fine. The keepers for the folding legs are quite tight but I’m sure they’ll work in just fine. If you’re looking for a low-height table (or children’s seat) try this out.
Fantastic table!
I questioned if I needed this table - turns out yes, yes I did. I like to have a table in the corner by the door of my tent (REI Kingdom 4, great tent). I've always had a roll up or fold up table that fit pretty good. This one fit perfectly, doesn't stick out into the door cavity at all. It's a great weight, helps to keep the tent floor in place, rounded edges with a lip to keep things on the surface, plenty of room to store things underneath. Love it.
Perfect camp table
This is a great small and stable table. We use it in front of our double camp chair for drinks, snacks and books. It folds compactly and is super easy to set up and take down.
REI Co-op Wonderland Side Table
I bought 2 camping side tables that fit well in my 10x10 Kodiak Flex-bow tent. One by each cot. They are a must for convenience.
