Rated 2 out of 5 by from Camping table for eating Bought this to sit next to my chair and eat my meals rather than set my plate in my lap. The legs must be extended or it tips over. This makes it a little higher than I would prefer or would be comfortable with. The top surface, unfortunately was actually slippery. If the table wasn't perfectly level, things would slide off including my drinks. You definitely couldn't pick it up and move it if you had things on top as they would slide right off. I returned this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great lil table Bought this for our family of 6 wknd excursions. Great quality and fold completely small. "18 square. This would good for 2people with small car etc. I debated the 25" and was afraid that would of been to big. After receiving this I want both! Totally ordering the 25 now. The table is so light weight and strong. Buy it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy lightweight table Bought this to use as a side table while sitting around the campfire. It folds up small and is lightweight which are both a plus when camping. I was surprised as to how sturdy it was even on (slightly) uneven ground. It is big enough for a few beverages and snacks along with a book without being overcrowded and yet small enough to not be cumbersome. I am very pleased with this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for backyard, ball games Bought this to use at kid's ballgames and in the backyard, not really for camping. Works great on flat ground, but not stable when the legs aren't fully extended. Doesn't pack as small as some of the rollup versions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE this little table I travel in a small 19 foot Roadtrek Agile camper van. My sister kept telling me I needed a table, and I told her I didn't have room to store one. I tried this table and found that it stored perfectly in the small storage space I have. I can't believe I was trying to camp before without this table. I LOVE it! It's actually big enough for two people to sit outside and have a nice romantic dinner under the moonlight. It is sturdy and just the right size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes tent camping/cooking more convenient Bought this early in April and am looking forward to using it. I anticipate its solid construction and capacity will make a perfect stove, lantern, or drink support. Folds up very well for easy packing.

Would this be the right height to sit in a camp chair and use a laptop computer and mouse?  Most tables tend to be to high and not comfortable to use with a laptop.  If not, which camp table would you recommend?

Asked by: AnnaF1512
This table is 24 inches tall. Comfortably using a laptop with a camp chair would depend on the height of your chair.

Is there any exposed material that can rust? I plan on leaving outside my front door (when not camping) to put things on it while I get my keys.

Asked by: steveleh4
GCI does not recommend leaving the Compact Camp Table 20 outside all year long. If constantly exposed to the elements rust will happen.

Would I be able to put my cook stove on this table? It is 15lbs and is 24 x 16 inches?

Asked by: Gini

Is there a way to make the table about 2-3 inches taller? Add something to the leg feet?
