Excellent Design.
Only water bottle I’ve own that works with my body. Contours with the body whether it be on your chest or hips. The bottle does not absorb strange tastes and it is dishwasher safe. Lid does not leak. Best water bottle I’ve used in the past 20 years of running.

Don’t buy
The plastic smell is terrible. There is no recycling symbol on the bottom, so no way to determine if the plastic is safe for humans.

When you need a tiny bit of (extra) water.

This is a very handy water bottle when you need to carry a bit of water, or extra water. Fits in a middle pocket of a cycling jersey perfectly, or tosses nicely into a tiny or large pack. The shape and squishy form is easy to handle but rests nicely on your back. Cap works well. I was looking at the flat water bags I have used before, but they quickly develop leaks and are too floppy to handle easily. This bottle even fits in a car drink holder. Just a half liter, but combine that with a bike water bottle and it can make the difference you need on a hot day or longer ride. Very short day hikes in our High Desert location still need a dash of water along and this half liter is sometimes all you need. Highly recommended.

Great bottle, faulty cap

I bought two of these bottles and after only a few uses, both of the caps started leaking from the mouthpice very badly at the slightest amount of pressure or inversion. Other than that the bottles are great. According to all the other reviews the caps are fine so I must have gotten a bad batch.

Silence is golden

These bottles are amazing. Not sure what sort of sorcery is used on them but the sloshing is minimal and I've run hundreds of miles with them and barely notice it.

Perfect vest companion

This bottle does what it is made to do. They fit perfect in most of the UltrAspire vest and waist pack line. I almost left a 4 due to there always being a bit of a leak issue on the nipple, but that is easily solved if ya give it a good hand slap. Sloshing sound is no issue. I don't know how, but I never notice it. They also offer a the straw lids that I like alot.

Great bottle for the trails

I love the UltraSpire 550 water bottle. I have quite a few of them. They count our and feel nice against your body in my UltraSpire Alpha or Zygos vest. I couldn't be happier and they last a very long time.

a bottle that is more than a bottle

So I have about six of these bottles. How Can a bottle be more than a bottle? This functions as it states, as a bottle. For me though it works amazingly well. There is just enough softness with the bottle, that a slight squeeze will let the water flow with ease. There is also enough rigidity to this bottle that I can take a beating and still hold its form. So for getting a drink while on the move, there really isn’t a bottle that is any better.

Does the job

I have more of these than I care to admit. Works perfectly across the Ultraspire collection of belts and vests. I use it with the Nucleus, Legacy pack, and Plexus. Doesn’t leak, easy to clean, easy to drink. Checks all the boxes.

Good product, but a little pricy.

This is a pretty basic bottle with a small-ish opening where the cap with push/pull valve screws off. Pros: - The bottle has rounded edges that make it more comfortable in a vest. - The valve (at least now, when it is new) seals well. No leaking. Cons: - The small opening is going to limit the size of ice cubes. A cube from my automatic fridge/freezer ice maker barely fits through the opening. If you buy ice in a bag, those cubes are going to be too large. You could always put a bottle with water in the freezer and then take it out when it is slushy, but you can't put the bottle in the freezer the night before or it will be frozen solid. For a morning summer run, that becomes kind of a pain because you have to get the bottle in well before you go running. - At $14.95 a bottle (and most people are going to probably have two bottles), it is a little pricy.
