Easy to hold, no leaks
I got this for half-marathon training about six months ago and have now done a ton of 8mi and more runs with it. Very easy to keep in hand with the strap, nice to have 2 little elastic bands for holding gel packs, wide mouth makes it easy to clean (I don’t bother taking the strap off to hand wash as it is a little tough to get in and off). Haven’t hade the leaking problems others have mentioned here. Not a drop spilled from lid or spout in many runs. My only complaint, and it’s minor, is that the angle of the bottle makes it pretty impossible to get the past oz or so of water out drinking through the spout, but that leaves a little something to take the lid off and sip once I get to the end of my run.

Good but difficult to prepare
This is my second Amphipod and I enjoy having a bottle in my hand rather than wearing a belt. This newer version has a better handle that is more comfortable for the thumb. However, getting the cover on the container is a task in and of itself. It is the equivalent of putting a wetsuit on a bottle. Also, don’t fill the container until the cover is on or you will spill all the liquid. The most colorful thing is the language that you will use in struggling to put the holder/cover on the bottle.

A great bottle for drink mixes

This has to be my favorite running bottle to date. I don't need insulated bottles when on the run, just give me a comfy + lightweight bottle. I love how large the cap is -- so easy to fill with drink mixes! It's the same size as a traditional cycling bottle. The water weight holds well on the run. I don't use the "gel slots" in the handle -- I'd prefer to use a running belt or hip pocket. Removing the strap is also a bit tedious. It'd be nicer if the strap came off more easily, instead of a friction fit on the bottom. Also, it's hard to drink the last half ounce of liquid while running. Something could be improved about the design, maybe?

Easy to Carry but…

I’ve tried almost every handheld out there and this by far is the most comfortable and easy to carry on long runs. It is sleek and simple, with no need to adjust or tug the strap. The problem is the elastic for carrying gels gets loose. A few times, I lost 1 or 2 gels that slipped out of the elastic and I didn’t notice it until I needed them. It was devastating! I still use the bottle sometimes but never use the elastic. If you need secure storage, skip this. Get the type with a storage pocket instead. It has the same easy-to-hold form but with peace of mind knowing that you won’t lose things on the run.

Great for hot runs

Excellent for runs where you want some water with you but don't want/need the extra storage. I liked how comfortable it was to hold it even though I rarely felt like I was gripping the bottle due to how secure the strap was. I didn't have any issue with it being too loose or too tight on my hand, and I have relatively small hands. The bottle itself has good squirting pressure so it doesn't take much to squeeze the water into my mouth. It also doesn't leak.

Comfortsble fit, definitely leaks

Like another review says, this bottle definitely leaks when the hand strap is on. Not a problem if you're running with plain water, but definitely a problem if you're using something that gets sticky or attracts bugs, like tailwind. I ended up with very sticky hands and had to toss mine at an aid station several miles into a long trail race.

Simple is the best

I’m happy with the price and product. I do not need a pocket as it takes time to dry after the wash. Thanks to the wide mouth and self standing shape, it’s really easy to pour both liquid and powder. Highly recommend.

Great ergonomic design

Great bottle for walkers as well. Check out picture for great relief for carpal tunnel suffers from gripping bottles. No leakage from my cap at all. Very happy with it.

Simple

Just a simple, reasonably cheap water bottle. Strap holds tight. Enough capacity without going too large.

Comfortable, easy to use bottle

Great waterbottle! Holds snug to my hand, easy to fill up and use while running. The two straps easily hold chews or single packets of peanut butter without falling out. I've used this on a 9 mile run and it made my run much better!
