Fits in my pocket

I am buying a second amphipod. I found the first one in the woods; someone had lost or left it. I’ve been using that one for half a year. Why I like it: it fits in my pockets. Sometimes I don’t want to carry a pack. It also fits in the bottle pockets of my Mountainsmith lumbar packs. It doesn’t leak, even upside down. You need to make sure the lid is screwed on tightly and the nozzle is set right. Because the nozzle is adjustable. The plastic is sturdy but flexible. I use it for hiking in all seasons. Since i can carry it in my pocket for short hikes it stays next to my body unfrozen. Don’t have an amphipod carrier. Carries just the right amount of water. I wish it was another color. It is easy to use. I don’t use hydration hoses.

Don't put in the dishwasher

I used this bottle twice. The second time I put it in the dishwasher and the opening became mishapen, such that it now leaks and is unusable. If you are ready to handwash it, it's a nice bottle. If you want the convenience of dishwashing, look elsewhere.

a bit worrisome

I enclose it in a plastic bag as it's too easy for the lid to pop open while I'm carrying it - with my phone in my fanny pack.

Doesn't fit with my amphipod belt

Nice bottle but I probably won't use it - it doesn't fit with the clamps on my Amphipod belt. I don't like to hold a bottle when I run. Don't buy it as a replacement for a bottle which you may have lost. I will just put it in my backpack when I hike or walk. I will try emailing the company directly, sounds like they will replace items so I will give it a try.

Running water bottle

It is a decent bottle. But, if you don't have the top completely screwed on tight, water leaks out. Sometimes during my runs, I will notice that the bottle has less water in it than when I started even without drinking. A little disappointing but it is the perfect size for carrying on a run.
