Ouch
I was looking for lightweight camp shoes and these seemed like a good possibility. They are, indeed, extremely lightweight! They are also extremely narrow, though, and the narrow bands around the forefoot cut into my foot, even though I ordered a size up (usually wear 9, tried on a 10). And, yes, they do have a strong odor, but that might dissipate over time.
Disappointed
When I got them home and opened the box, the sandals stunk so bad. Let them air out for more than a week and the smell wasn't quite as bad, but still bad. Not sure what the soles are made of, but not a good smell.
