Love these hiking sandals!
These are the most stable and comfortable hiking sandals. The tread is thick, the sandal has great support and they are extremely comfortable. Although they are not waterproof (duh! They’re open toe), I wore them on a 5-mile hike that was mostly in water and they were amazing. They dried pretty quickly, too. They wear very well on rugged trails with bouldering and in water. Highly recommend.
Loved them more than expected
I’m a minimalist packer/traveler so these went on a hiking trip in the southern Pyrenees. They have the soles of a hiking shoe but are great for warmer weather when your feet want to breath a little. The color is a bit unusual but ended up looking fun and quirky with bright patterned socks. At first I was unsure but I kept getting positive remarks on their appearance from local hikers in Spain and France. By that time I didn’t care how they looked because they were so comfortable—like a house slipper with a sturdy sole! I ha e narrow feet (AAAA) and finding shoes and sandals that I can customize to my feet is a never ending search. But these fit the bill—even more than Chacos and other TEVA styles. My hiking partner got them as well and she loves them as much as I do. They’re a bit pricey but cheaper than buying several other styles that don’t quite do the job.
Didn’t Work for Me
I really wanted to like these. I have been a fan of Teva’s for years…even hiking in them at times when my other shoes failed me. These seemed like they would be perfect for me…but they sadly weren’t. Out of the box they looked bulky and on my feet they were even more so. I could have overlooked it if they were extremely comfortable…but they missed the mark on that for me too. Hopefully they will work for some, but I had to return.
Super comfy sandals
These sandals are SUPER comfy! By far they are the most comfortable sandals I've ever had. They offer a lot of support and they are well made. They also have good grippy soles. The only small issue I had is that when wet they do take a while to dry. So, after getting them wet and then walking around in them for a while it, the dampness was not great. When dry they are awesome.
Cool hiking sandal
Great fit, very comfortable but also provides excellent support for my feet, like the adjustable straps, Vibram sole provides good traction and stability while hiking, highly recommend if you are looking for a sturdy hiking sandal
