Warm, classic, solid xc/bc/bcd boots

Great comfort, warmth, control for the Xplore binding system, with a tall ankle shaft that can be easily left flexible for long tours or locked down for light tele descents. I have a few pairs of Alfa ski xc and Explore boots and they're top notch in terms of quality in my experience. Fit is large, as many others have noted online - I typically wear a 45 and 44's are comfortable with good forefoot width to maintain warm feet. Very surprising that a previous reviewer experienced such wear in the toe after such short use...I'd want to know more about the circumstances and user proficiency.
