No, I do not recommend this product

The eyelets that secure the shoestrings on these boots frayed after only about 10 uses. REI will not honor Salomon's 2 yr warranty because I was a month past REI year warranty. And Salomon says REI should cover it for them. Nobody will help. There is now no way to tighten the boots around the ankle. Very frustrating. Shame on both Salomon and REI.
