Initial Reaction

I ordered this tent in preparation for a trip to Maine where I’ll be camping on and off for a few months. I haven’t had time to actually take this out on an actual trip, but I have set it up and can share my initial reaction. The setup is incredibly simple. You could set this up without the instructions (which I’ll admit aren’t the best) and for a one person tent, it’s quite spacious. It seems very sturdy and the materials used in its construction seem to be of high quality. The only complaint I have is that it’s not as easy to get it back in the bag, but that’s more on my ability to pack it than the bag’s ability to hold the tent or the tent’s ability to roll up. This is a five star purchase for me and I’ll update this review once I’ve gotten to actually take it out.

Roomy

I had a eureka 1 person tent that felt like a flipping coffin. This thing is nice and roomy, plus you can leave of the rain fly so you can keep an eye out for bears

Cute

Very cute but I can only give it two stars. There is no ventilation areas unless you really guy it out. There is one small pocket inside. You can not cover the sky hole without tape. Iwas aware of that prior to purchase but no ventilation? It was very stuffy and humid. It is cute and a good stealth tent. Its also 5 lbs for a one person tent. The Vestibule area is negligable. The set up is absolutely intuitive. This is for fun, it would be fun for a kid or fun for a cool place with no sun. I bought the foot print which is made out of suitabley tough material The poles have visibley tied off areas and sticking out from hubs which makes them very easy to get severed. It does, except for the window on top, offer privacy. I could see pets like cats, loving this tent. It is well made and for a tiny tent it has a high ceiling which gives the sense of spaciousness.
