Fairly warm
I have a pair of these and they are pretty warm. In really cold temps or if your hands get cold easily, you may benefit by wearing a thin liner glove inside. I will be honest here. The REI version is warmer but I noticed it isn't available this year. Glad I wound up with a few pairs. They are the best bang for the buck. But these are decent for the price. I have very small hands with wide plalms and short fingers. The S/M are fine.
Not women's sizing
The sizing is bizarre on these. Unisex gloves are always too big for me, so I was excited to find a women's-specific glove for winter biking. I got the S/M and have at between half an inch and an inch of extra fabric in all the fingers. This is worse than a unisex glove. I had a friend try them on who has notoriously large hands, and they fit her perfectly. These gloves are great for the weather but are not designed for women.
nice design
The mixed reviews on these gloves gave me pause but they have been a game changer for cold and foggy am rides to work. The design looks weird but balances dexterity vs finger warmth nicely. Size M/L fits well on my avg sized hands (6” wrist circ and 7” length middle finger to wrist crease). I could not be happier. Go Terry!
good idea but…
These are a nice size for biking. Not too big and not too small. I had to buy the largest size for winter cycling…I usually wear a women’s large gloves purchased xl for enough room as they run small. They wore out fast! I luckily bought 2 pair as a finger on each glove developed a hole. Now the lining on one peels down if I’m not careful.
For sure womens size
Based on the other review and reaching out to customer service, I bought the s/m because I wear a medium in mens. Way too small. Will be exchanging for a m/l. Once I get the sizing correct, I hope these are great gloves. I bought a few pairs of similar gloves and though the red tag is terrible to look at, they seemed the most comfortable and 'stuffable'.
