I always try and buy XL My hands are large but they ain’t THAT large It’s not like I go around palming basketballs On a good day I might reach a 9th interval on a piano so I wonder what people with truly large hands do The webbing between thumb and forefinger will definitely impede my breaking on my bicycle this winter Oh well Otherwise these are well made gloves I believe them to be warm but I won’t know until winter. And I will wear them not riding my bike which I do every day and hope between now and the first cold snap I discobert some truly xl gloves And before you say anything there weren’t XXLs offered I would only recommend to friends with smaller hands
Like others have mentioned these gloves run small or rather I would say slim, which is great for me as I have large skinny women's hands - most gloves fit too wide for me. For other's reference, I ordered a size L and my hands are 7.25" in circumference and 7.6" long. The fingers are slightly long, but not so much it would interfere with riding (what I got them for). Granted I am writing this review in late May, but they feel warm enough for 30's and rainy bike commutes (at least my less than 3 mile route) and I tested the waterproofing by putting one under running water in my sink for a minute - seemed to bounce right off waterproofing would. I have not tested if they are windproof and will have to wait for cooler weather!
I don't have huge hands by any means, but I prefer a looser fit, so I normally buy XL gloves. These XL's were so small I couldn't even put them on.
Very impressed with the warmth of these gloves. They kept me warm on a day with windchills into the 20s.I found that they might run a bit small. I did the measuring as per sizing directions. They are snug. But I definitely like the feel and the warmth.
Proved to be really nice gloves for winter cycling and some snow shoveling. Genuinely windproof and warmly insulated.
