I’ll just bluntly say it: Don’t waste your money on these gloves. They run 2, possibly 3 sizes too small. I wear large size and my hands aren’t chunky and a large usually has a bit of room left over. I’m on the verge of being a medium. I bought large size and they take much effort to put on, and super hard to remove. There is no way you can “one hand” remove them by biting a finger tip and pulling g them off. It requires both hands and some real effort. Once you get them on the are nice. They form fit the hand for sure. But 2 sizes up if you try these.
These would be great if they were done well. Somehow, they were not. Or perhaps it is the material... They failed where the palm leather is connected to upper mesh. Im a bit suspicious that is because they use leather which is absolutely great material as it does not slip on your grips or brake levers even if you sweat through it heavily. And it also does not expand as synthetic materials so the fit is really tight if you like that. But probably because of that, they are also extremely prone to tear apart when putting them on or off as it puts the sewing under too much pressure since the leather stay same. Got two pairs, both failed in the same spot.
Although these gloves were a great deal, the size was way off. I wear a size Large but they were more size less than Medium. I couldn’t get my fingers into the glove at all. I know bike gloves are somewhat tight but this was crazy. I checked the glove to see if it was mis marked but no they were a large. I would be thinking two sizes up if you consider buying them.
I wear a size large in all bike gloves, and these in a large fit me fine. However, they have more of a form-fit than most other gloves, and the neoprene cuff isn't very stretchy, so they take twice as long to get on than you'd expect. If you're used to donning and removing gloves while you're pedaling, you'll probably find these frustrating. But once they're on, they reward you with a very close fit.
I bought the Fox Flexair 50th Anniversary Edition Bike Glove to use as a liner under heavier gloves. I ordered the X-large and I had to go back and check the listing to make sure I didn’t buy kids gloves by mistake. The x-large fits more like a small and I popped a seam just trying them on. I wish I’d read the other reviews first. I’ll be returning them for sometime else.
High quality gloves that preserve most of your fine motor skills. Finely made. My only issue is that they run small. The medium fit my fingers perfectly yet it was a struggle to get them over my hands and were a tad too tight in the wrist. I’m going to size up and see how they fit. Hopefully the fingers won’t be too long in the large size.
There are two potential reasons for the 1-star. Either they accidentally mislabeled a pair of children's gloves or these are the most ridiculous gloves ever. I could barely get 4 fingers in bottom of the glove without squeezing them together like a racoon, Forget about getting a thumb or any other part of my hand in.
As others have noted, the sizing on these is way off. I normally wear a medium glove, so that's what I ordered. They are quite snug, and almost painful to put on or remove. Otherwise, they appear to be nice gloves. They will be returned.
The gloves work well for me! No complaints. I'm glad to know that they are very before buying them, as that allowed to upsize as needed.
The extra large is more like an extra small. Didn't fit my skinny piano hands nor those of my girlfriend.
