This will be an in-depth sizing review because I found all the "they run small", "buy one size up", "buy two sizes up" did not leave me with any confidence but I couldn't go try them on. I ultimately got the women's XL and they fit great. I have about an inch of loose velcro when I tighten them (small wrists), and the palm and fingers are snug but comfortable. I also bought the men's style in M and those were essentially the exact same size as the women's XL, but the fingers were wider and longer (a bit loose and hitting above my knuckles, the women's are snug and hit right below my knuckles). I might have been okay with a slightly less wide glove to get it more fitted around the wrist, but wouldn't want it any shorter. I normally wear a M latex/lab glove. In women's winter gloves I wear a L. My longest finger is just over 3 inches, palm is just over 4 inches, total hand length about 7.25 inches. Hand circumference about 7.6 inches.
Beware these (WMed) are a very snug fit. Typically I wear a S or M, and opted for the M, and they were very snug. I am going to try L or even XL. fit seems good with good gel. Have not tried them on the bike.
Ordered size medium (I am size small). Gloves are way too small. Also, the palm padding is hard as a rock, not gel-like at all. Will be returning.
I purchased these to replace a worn-out pair of biking gloves based on reviews of comfort and durablility. Unfortunately I was unable to test either as the gloves were way too small. I saw other reviewers say the same so thought I was safe when I ordered a large instead of usual medium, but they were still too tight to be comfortable. I returned them to the store and purchased another brand.
The cycling gloves are super comfortable and have very adequate padding in all the right places, however the sizing is really off. I wear a size 6.5 surgical glove, which is a small, and I had to size up to a LARGE! Other than that they are great.
I am a smaller than average woman but i still felt most comfortable with the medium size. I only bike about 15-20 miles per week so am happy to have an affordable option for such limited riding.
I have worn size small cycling gloves for years. I read reviews so sized up to medium. Way way too snug. cut off circulation to fingers. Returning
These gloves are great. Make sure you get a correct size. My hands are especially big. My fingers are long so I should’ve got a size up- but I already had a large I use them to work out with weights and it really protects my hands well. I’m overall satisfied with them.
I have worn Giro's full-finger gloves for many years and really wanted to like these. But the finger puller elastics and the fabric used for the fingers make the gloves stiff and uncomfortable. As always with Giro gloves, IME, they run very small.
Size is smaller than expected. I ordered a lilac color and I received a black with a holographic logo. The large was too large and a medium seems way too snug. It is ok but not what I was hoping for.
