Super Light and Water Tight
It's light, it's durable, and slim. It keeps liquids chilled for a lot longer than expected. It fits great into my car cup holder and I use this on my daily drive. The wonderful thing I liked about is the mouth/spout design of this product; it's not like the other bottles where you get a good welcome splash when you open it :D I tried both the cold and hot liquids and to my surprise it does great job. I personally like the thermos and I am a coffee person and this helps me a lot to hold the drink hot for longer time. I personally didn't see any leaks yet and there is a lock that is handy so it can't accidentally open when it's in a pack.
Great job GSI
great. well designed & easy to use--having a rubber bottom make for a quiet flask :)
Better than the Yetis I have.
I’ve bought about six of these Microlite thermoses. They are fantastically efficient. I’ve had ice in them last longer than two days. For a 17 oz thermos that’s really good. Hot beverages take forever to cool down. It looks like REI might be phasing them out. What a mistake! I’ve never met anyone who had the same thermos who hasn’t had the same experience as I have. Brand recognition is their only problem. Yeti is not the best, in my opinion.
Get yourself one or four.
This is the fourth one that I bought. Great product. Especially when you want water in a hot car. Add an ice cube and your drink stays cold in the hot sun. Perfect while shopping and running errands on a hot day. I have separate one that I put my coffee in after brewing and it stays hot for hours while not burning on the hot plate while I work from home.
GSI MicroLite is the perfect thermos/drink holder
I wanted a thermo cup to pack my coffee or tea & keep it warm & easily accessible, & the GSI Outdoors MicroLite is perfect. It fits into my car cup holder & meets all my needs. I came into REI to purchase a Yeti thermos, but saw this for less money & it had some features the Yeti did not. Great purchase!
Best water bottle for travel.
Not too big, not too small. It fits perfectly in my travel crossover bag which I used to walk many miles around NYC. It doesn’t leak and there isn’t a lid you have to take off. A quick click and it’s ready to go. I love it so much I went back and bought a second one.
Try It!
I love these! I use mostly for water and they do an excellent job holding cold Walter cold. I Ike the size, too. I have small hands and the size is excellent! Used in a city as my usual water bottle. Fits in totes, purses, briefcases and even in some jacket pockets.
Great mug until it broke…
I have two of these in different colors. They were my favorite tea mugs. Then the mouth piece came off. The other one is fine and I actually had that one longer. Maybe it was just a fluke. REI was great about it and took it back.
Great travel mug
I have used these bottles for a few years now. They are improving in weight and less leakage. The mugs are also great at sustaining hot or cold beverages. But if you do drop them on the ground-as I have - they shatter.
Great mug with two lid options
So light compared with my previous mug. I like that I can use the twist style cap on this as well. This cap is really easy to disassemble for cleaning. A bit easier than the twist cap in fact.
