I've been using this sleeping pad for 2 years and I love it. It's so easy to use - inflates itself in minutes - and it's just as comfortable as my bed at home. As another reviewer pointed out, this is not your best choice for backpacking, as it's large and relatively heavy, but I bought it for car camping and van-supported combo cycling/camping trips, and for that it's been a dream. I have an ultra-light blow-up pad. Used it once. It was surprisingly comfortable, but just too narrow. Since I don't backpack I much prefer the little extra width. It makes a big difference.
This pad is pretty big to use for backpacking. It's lightweight but big and bulky. I had a hard time finding straps on my pack that fit around it. It would probably be better for car camping!
i didn't get the wide. i got the slim. it works really well
