Trekmates  Air Lite Sleeping Pad

I think many of the other recruiters had the same problem I've had twice--if you didn't check to valve carefully, you may not raise that it's not fully closed, and then the pad leaks. See the two images... In one, the valve has snapped once, and you might think it was fully closed if you didn't look at it. In the other, it's fully closed (two snapping sounds). If you just make sure the valve is fully snapped shut, problem solved. Very lightweight and easy to initiate with the kind of bizarre bag that comes with it. I've slept on grass, hard concrete, and standard car-camping sites with rocks, and been comfortable every time.

I have slept on this pad a total of 6 times. It has held the full amount of air only 2/6 nights. The two nights that it held all of its air, it worked really well. 4 of those nights, I woke up in the morning barely off the ground. I would not buy this product again and would instead opt for something a bit nicer. With that being said, this would work if you can handle sleeping in less comfortable conditions than the average person. I did sleep through the night every night and it helped me fall asleep initially when it was inflated. This was easy to inflate using the pump bag that is included.

I bought this sleeping pad hoping for good pad for a cheaper option but I blew it up and let it set for a night with out even sleeping on it and when I came back the next day it was like half empty. So I was disappointed and returned it- but I really liked the sized and how it felt blown up so I bought it again in hope that that pad was just defective. But when I tried my second pad out I woke up to having no air in my pad:(

Awful. Very thin even when fully inflated; I could feel the base of my spine on the ground when lying on my back. Loss of air was noticeable within minutes, and the pad was totally flat by morning. We had two of them and this happened with both.

The weight and volume (compared to a typical ThermaRest) are nice but this fancy air mattress fails due to the ideal gas law. It loses volume due to colder temperatures and you wind up closer to the ground than were when you went to bed. It might be fine in warm climates.

Used on 2 trips. Lost air after ~3 hours on each trip. Slept on the hard ground after. Very unsatisfied with this purchase.

Worthless, leaked instantly and couldn't patch all the holes it had in it.
